DIY Dual Battery Charger Kit - Redarc BCDC - Canopy|Tub Mount for the VW Amarok 2010 -2022 - First Generation

A complete plug and play pre wired dual battery charger install kit

This is a vehicle specific fully pre wired dual battery kit to suit the Volkswagon Amarok. Using the renowned Australian made REDARC BCDC 1225D (available with the 1240D or 1250D charger for lithium setups) dcdc charger and solar controller with an Anderson plug to accept solar directly. The kit comes with the Redarc charger pre wired with soldered and heat shrunk connections, no joins required.

3 sockets of your choice, 1x socket at the back of the box near the Redarc charger and 2x sockets at the front of the box. These sockets are selected at checkout and you can choose between cig/aux 12v socket, Engel fridge socket, dual usb socket, volt meter or single Anderson.

Mounts in rear left corner of tray, Utilises the factory OEM tie down points and strategically placed mounts to ensure the tub does not crack from poor mounting.

INTERNAL DIMENSIONS: 345mm long x 185mm wide x 255mm high Suits most 120AH batteries.

The kit is plug and play for vehicles with standard alternators which is all the 4cylinder models upto 2017. These models do not require the smart ignition module.

Some models of the v6 from 2017 may have a variable voltage (smart) alternator. Please refer to the video below that shows an easy way to tell if your vehicle has a variable voltage alternator. For models fitted with a variable voltage alternators we have an optional Smart Ignition Sense* module which can be purchases with the kit at checkout.
