Our story

After many roads travelled in Australia, first the big loop living in a basic camper van for over a year, many fun beach driving and fishing days, exploration road trips, adventures with a 1976 Viscount caravan and rural work trips. And before all that growing up in a family that loved camping on the beach, I found you can’t underestimate the need for a reliable dual battery system.

As a qualified Auto Electrician for over 20 years and personally experiencing touring with a very basic dual battery setup right through to full lithium setup, I understand everyones needs are different. Also when you are on the road away from home it is great to fully understand the set up of your own battery management system, knowing where all the components are. Whether its fuses or your cabling routes.

Our kits are fully labelled and with the simple installation making it an easy DIY Dual Battery System. There are also tutorial videos to guide you through the process, available here on the website and also on our YouTube channel.

Our Kits

Our simple DIY dual battery management kits are made using quality reliable products and are designed and built to last.

Our vehicle-specific kits come with stainless steel laser cut mounting brackets with the REDARC BCDC charger, they are custom made to fit using existing mounting points in each vehicle. The custom pre-wired harness has soldered and heat shrunk connections, so there are no joins required in the installation, adding to the durability of the dual battery kits.

Our universal kits leave the placement of the dcdc battery charger (Redarc BCDC or Enerdrive DC2DC) up to you, to suit your touring or work setups. The pre-wired harness comes with ample cable (7m) to reach the start battery from your canopy or right from the back of your van.
